Family owned. Boldy independent.

Don Kizirian - founder of Mojave Gold and inventor of Raisins on the Vine - was raised a raisin farmer.
Like his father before him, Don fell in love with the fertile California fields and the rich possibilities they provided. So not long after getting out of the Army, Don bought his own ranch in 1965.
Always an innovator, Don set to work perfecting a new technique for drying raisins naturally, without the use of industrial machinery that conventional raisins required. Driven by his curiosity and inspired by his decades of raisin farming experience, he discovered after years of experimenting that the secret to this one-of-a-kind delicacy was patience, the right location, and keen attention to detail.
Now, unfurled across the floor of the Coachella Valley’s Mojave Desert, the rows and fields of Raisins on the Vine are a testament to our passion for going beyond expectations to create sweet, simple pleasures that remind us all to celebrate life’s finest details every day.
